BDM127 2D proposal, 21 July

I'm going to continue on with my story "Monkey Saves the Daypaint!".  I've trimmed my animatic down to two minutes and have simplified the story and cut or combined characters.  For backgrounds, I am inspired by the work of Craig McCracken in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Powerpuff Girls.  The collage illustrations of Ezra Jack Keats are also a style influence.  To separate the characters from the painterly background, I intend to use flat colours and thin black outlines.
