Inflatable costume: instructions for getting dressed
This mascot style has no fur or foam around the body just an inflatable silk/poly shell that is inflated around the performer.  How do you make them, though?

Ways of keeping bulk down and your performer cool
A body made with rings will keep the amount of foam down.   If the mascot is wearing a shirt, anyway, the section that is covered can be made with mesh so air gets into the performer.
