Created in 1739, Artist Monkey has been working on the same painting for the last 250+ years. He is a trained classicist and art historian and enjoys keeping up with new art trends by chatting with the new additions to the museum. The new graffiti art that he sees developing outside his window is the most exciting thing he's seen in years. He's shocked at how exposed it is to the elements because he's always lived in climate-controlled comfort. He's worth a lot of money but visitors see him as cute and whimsical, not historically important. His greatest fear is being rotated into the vaults or sold off to a private collector's private chalet where he'll be even lonelier than he is now.
Graffiti Girl: mini bio
Created this year, Graffiti Girl is newborn and excited about everything she sees around her. Her position on the wall means that she can watch the hustle and bustle of the people as they come and go. Her wall always has new tags full of colours and shapes. She loves to paint the world around her and is very curious about the paintings that she can see in the building across the square.
The darkness of the brick is Ok for Painter and Graffiti Girl, but Madame and Monkey are disappearing into the background. I'll have to lighten the brick up for those.
I changed my story page: instead of two pages, one page with a GG and Monkey capering about. This is a LOOKING project, not a reading project, after all.
