I was thinking about my alien junk peddler and what was going to happen at the end of the speed date. I originally thought it would go off with a "blue" version of itself. But I've been thinking about it having a little "pet" and inspired by the story of the Angler fish (the male is 1/20th of the female's size) I've decided to work with the look and size differential of that critter. Abe from Hellboy's look is going to be influential in the creation of this alien. We'll only see it's face and hands as it will be wearing a futuristic kimono covered in junk sort of thing.

Space junk peddler (some sort of alien) comes into the Mos Eisley cantina, "a hive of scum and villainy'. It's speed date night.. It sits in a booth off to the side at a table with a light and a bell. A series of weird aliens sit across the table: their faces are never seen, only the reaction on the alien's face, and a tentacle or two, hint at what they look like. As the junk peddler is constantly rejected by the speed daters, the little "pet" sitting on it's shoulder looks on, first neutral then disapprovingly of the suitors as they ring the bell to end the round. At last, the little "pet" skitters down and offers itself, seriously, as a romantic possibility. The junk peddler hits the bell, signifying the end of the round. The little "pet" is crestfallen. But then the peddler offers a hand and the two leave together.
