BSA325 Group Project, 14 February, 2017

What's our company?  What are we doing?
3 milestones from hand-in, each is worth 5%
35% for finished product and show night/public consumption
50% for personal contribution
shotgun management system for asset handling
keep track of all expenses, even donations, and man hours, keep all GST receipts

Suggested milestone elements
1. storyboard, script, company name and logo etc.
2. health and safety evaluations, breakdowns, concepts art, locations scouting shots, etc.
3. picture lock, animations done, playblasting, production dailies, etc.

Individual assessment
screen grabs, time sheets, blogs, evaluation at end of semester, full evaluation
Treat it like a real company!  We are the workers and the management
Read health and safety guide!  Law change makes everyone, not just management, responsible for accidents and unsafe conditions

What would I like to do?  Art department, costume (not modern dress), paperwork/organisation stuff, animation.  No Fucking Bugs.

Shooting will likely happen during 2-week break between terms
9 weeks for pre-production

Group Dynamics
Design good communication plan
people take on distinctive roles in a group
collective goals, everyone is held accountable, changes go to whole group
weekly meetings, fb open/closed groups, keep everything documented

Do not expect people to read Facebook posts or their emails- go see them face to face

I thought that a completely filled out evaluation and analysis at the end of last semester, the round the table discussion, and 3 months off would have healed me after the Flicks debacle, but it hasn't.  I am angry. I look around the table at my "colleagues" and think, "you Fucker, you are not getting me AGAIN."  Then I started looking at the grad dips and wanting one of them to be the producer and director so I can start fresh.  I had a 20 minute conversation with **** about it this afternoon.   ****'s dealing with stuff, too.  Our group needs counselling/mediation so we can really get through it and start over.  There are 7 people that weren't involved in 203 last year and they don't need to get dragged into this shit.
