clearly explain why you are interested in exploring your topics of interest

Look for synergies between multiple classes, not copying, to get the most well-thought out realized project
check out siggraph America and siggraph Asia to look at the latest research of big companies

finished shots outlined in proposal and shot element/VFX breakdown. shots must be finished to broadcast quality and have completed VFX pipeline process. must be clear explorations are resolved and practical based research and analysis reflect with journal/blog
final shots must show complex understanding of visual literacy and have all elements seamlessly working together to enhance visual understanding of the shot
shot breakdowns must show all individual elements and render layers, as contributing to final composite. include all render layers and individual elements of shots

understanding basics of Python computer language will be important this semester
all experiments must be included in discussion of project
Triggerfish Studios regularly email around asking people for solutions. people are generally helpful: if you need help, research, email and ask for it.
Today's first lesson:
Vue software for environmental animation- each elements like blades of grass or clouds can be programmed to self-animate.
Everything is editable in Vue. Set presets on program open for Maya. icons with dots have right (items to select from) and left click options and icons with arrows left clicking brings up selection of other icons to choose from.
organize scene so it's easy to turn things on and off. keep everything in it's own layer.
