I did some more work on this. I went over it again with the messy brush tool, bent the colours to create the illusion of roundness, went over the background with the burn tool to darken it, and burnt the ball and used the dodge tool to hit the highlight. There must be a better way to use the burn tool on the ball, because it just isn't convincing me. The Sky and ground are looking like they might be reflected in the ball, but the bottom seems too dark and literally burnt.

BMA142 4 March- Another Crack at the Mirror Ball
I did some more work on this.
