BSA324, logline and title work, 16 August, 2017

Adapt the show for an older audience: 8-12 year old "tweens"

Logline:"Girl is stuck 'tween two worlds"
When you're stuck 'tween worlds, you're going to need a guide to get you through.

After reading this article on how NOT to write loglines and this article on how TO write loglines:

If you're a quirky kid stuck 'tween the worlds of childhood and adulthood, you're going to need a good guide to get you through.

It feels like a second sentence is needed.  Maybe something about Jellybean or the others?

Rachel had this idea:
Stuck 'tween the worlds of kids and adults, Girl finds quirky and inventive ways to navigate a world full of change and emotion.

Gonna run with this for now with an eye towards changing out that second 'world' later.
Chris is going to coach me through using Blurb to get prototype 002 printed for the exhibition.

possible titles:
Tween2Worlds (nope- already taken!)
Stuck in the Middle
'Tween the Aisles
'Tween the Shelves (working the Imagination Warehouse into this may not work out)

Ah! But as Rachel reminded me, now that this is for an older audience, maybe "Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know" is no longer inappropriate?  I should tell Anna that.

adjust the birthday story in episode summary (nobody comes, or everybody is coming in from another party they went to first)
