BSA326, Z Brush introduction, 16 March, 2017

Used to be a 2D package that morphed into 3D modeling package.
Different than mudbox- Zbrush can do more but can be problematic.

restore button and grab running man at upper left corner to move program to cintiq screen
menus can be hidden and revealed from big "lightbox" button.
choose dynamesh from project menu- like a blob of clay
left click on any part of canvas to move and push alt to go up and down + - to zoom
also have buttons on right side of screen to move around the interface

scroll, zoom, actual and AAHalf zoom in and out and around as if it was an actual document

upper key BPR will do a quick render to show what the object will look like

shift smoothes as you draw
alt pulls up? as you draw
retopologize by clicking off your sculpt and hit ctrl and drag then release.
Start with a low poly ball called a dynamesh
Add more topology so finer features can be fleshed out.
Push and pull with the brushes
The back of the head is too full- I'd like to push it way in.
The front of the hair is too tapered and I'd like to pull it out.
